Born in the Republic of Panama, son of an American Army/Airforce man and the daughter of the Governor of Panama, Mahlon began performing on television in Panama as a teenager. In the USA, he has been performing professionally since relocating to California in 1970. He joined QSC Audio in 2004, purchased a home in the Phoenix, Arizona area in 2005, and continues to make waves in the music business for QSC.
His performances have been broadcast on major television and radio stations throughout Latin America. In the 80's he had exposure on major LA radio stations and on MTV. From very small venues to large arenas, over the years Hawk has performed and shared the stage with many notable musicians.
